Dolphin and Whale Watching Observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. For a peaceful and respectful interaction with dolphins, we recommend starting early: 6:15 a.m. during the winter season and 5:30 a.m. during the summer season. The tour typically begins with a viewing of bottlenose or spinner dolphins, followed by a 60- to 90-minute swim with them. We then continue the tour in search of whales. Tour duration: approximately 4 hours, depending on whale location. Patience is essential when observing these majestic marine creatures. Please note that whale sightings are not guaranteed, but we use a hydrophone to locate them when necessary. We offer a 10% discount on the total price if whales are not seen during the tour. Included for your comfort: homemade banana bread and soft drinks. For this specific excursion, we recommend not bringing young children. In accordance with the Mauritius Tourism Authority's Dolphin and Whale Watching Regulations 2012, swimming with whales is strictly prohibited in Mauritius. This excursion focuses exclusively on the respectful observation of these magnificent animals, in accordance with Mauritian law. Each boat can accommodate up to 8 people.
