Morning conditions are ideal for a chance to spot two fascinating species of marine mammals in a responsible and respectful manner: the spinner dolphin (Stenella longirostris) and the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus), which often take refuge in the bay at night to mate and feed. 2. KAYAKING ON THE TAMARIN RIVER: This excursion begins in Tamarin Bay, famous for its legendary wave. You will paddle on calm waters, exploring the two main branches of the river. On one side, the Rempart and Trois Mamelles mountains, and on the other, the majestic La Tourelle mountain. The surrounding natural setting offers lush vegetation and abundant wildlife: ducks, long-beaked birds, bats, and even monkeys. 3. SUNSET KAYAKING: The west coast is renowned for its magnificent sunsets. Experience a late-afternoon kayaking trip on the Tamarin River, paddling north.
