Full-Day Rodrigues Island Tour Climb aboard a specially adapted vehicle and explore Rodrigues Island with a passionate driver. Relive its history, discover breathtaking geology, and learn about the authentic Rodriguan way of life. Rodrigues is a small island with a lot to offer. If you're a nature lover and passionate about exploring new places, this full-day excursion is perfect for you. Not only will you have the opportunity to explore Rodrigues' magnificent coastline and picturesque hilly landscapes, but you'll also have the chance to enrich your knowledge of the island's history. EXCURSION 1: Stops: • Pick-up from your accommodation: 9:00 a.m. • Scenic drive - North Coast • The Suspension Bridge • La Caverne Patate or La Réserve François Leguat (optional) • Scenic drive - South Coast to Port Sud Est • The 52-Bend Road with panoramic views of the lagoon • St. Gabriel Cathedral • Return to your accommodation: 4:00 p.m. EXCURSION 2: Discover the island's natural riches and the heavenly beaches along the coast from St. Francois to Graviers. Along the way, you can access small secret coves and deserted beaches: Trou d'Argent, Anse Bouteille. Stops: • Pick-up from your accommodation: 9:00 a.m. • Visit Port Mathurin, the island's capital, and the Bazaar • Marie Reine de Rodrigues • Mount Limon (the highest peak in Rodrigues) • Zipline at Montagne Malgache (optional) • Pointe Cotton & St. Francois • Hike to Trou D'Argent (30-minute walk to the beach) • Return to your accommodation: 4:00 p.m. Practical Information: • Duration: 7 hours • The itinerary may be slightly modified • What to bring: Bottle of water, sunscreen, hat, camera • Lunch is not included but can be arranged at local venues and restaurants • Entrance fees for optional activities are not included and must be paid for on site. • This tour includes points of interest with fixed start and end times. If you choose to extend the time spent on a certain site, you can then reduce the number of sites to visit. • Maximum: 14 participants
