DESCRIPTION
ROOMS:
The Otentic Eco Tent features eco-tent structures and a wooden chalet, which use water from a nearby spring and are built on raised wooden frames overlooking the palm grove. They feature a double bed as well as a private bathroom and toilet and can accommodate a family of 2 adults and 3 children (with a pull-out bed for the third child) or up to 4 adults maximum. Children must be at least 5 years old due to the configuration.

Starting point for many walks or bike rides, the Otentic Eco Tent offers sports enthusiasts (water and land) the opportunity to practice their favorite activities:
-Enjoy the magnificent waterfall of the Grande Rivière Sud-Est outside of peak hours. Discover the mangroves of Île aux Cerfs and Mangénie Island by kayak or Stand-Up Paddle , with hidden beaches where boats cannot penetrate.
-Discover Joyride, one of the best places to practice kitesurfing in Mauritius, still unknown to the community of kitesurfers who come there every year.
-Explore the endless cane fields between the river and the mountain by mountain bike . It is possible to find small, well-hidden waterfalls where it is pleasant to refresh yourself before continuing on your way.
-Hike to the top of Lion Mountain, Cat and Mouse Mountain, or Bamboo Mountain, the peaks of the mountain range.
-Take part in meal preparation and gardening activities.
-Enjoy other activities such as tennis volleyball, volleyball, pétanque, molki, darts, carom, as well as picnics on Ile aux Cerfs and snorkeling at Eau Bleue & Ilot flamand are available.
RESTORATION:
There's nothing better than discovering Mauritian life through its cuisine. The Otentic Eco Tent has only one restaurant; the atmosphere is ideal for getting to know other residents.
Every morning, a delicious breakfast featuring seasonal fruits, fresh juice, and freshly ground coffee is served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Also served are a variety of seasonal fruits, traditional bread, homemade jams and yogurts, as well as eggs, omelets, ham, and cheese to give you the energy you need to start your day with enthusiasm.
For lunch , octopus salad with a little kaffir lime, Creole sausage rougaille, crab and oyster curry with coconut milk. You will also have the chance to taste seafood in vinaigrette, tuna tartare, < > green mango, wood-smoked eggplant caviar, candy apple salad, green papaya pickles, and bilimbi. These are just a small taste of what you'll enjoy for lunch alongside lemonade or homemade iced tea.
For dinner, a selection of grilled meats is offered, either over a wood fire or on a plancha. You can enjoy meat, fish or kebabs alongside 2 or 3 vegetarian dishes and/or a salad. You can also end the evening by enjoying the small Rhum arrangés or a lemongrass infusion from the garden in the company of a campfire .
Don't worry if you're a vegetarian. Every night, you'll have the option to select 3 or 4 vegetarian dishes.
